Do I need to sign up or fill out forms?
No. Just turn up. There are no forms or paperwork. Everyone is welcome.
Can I just sit quietly?
Absolutely. Some people come for company; others come to eat in peace. There's no pressure to chat or participate in anything you don't want to.
Do I have to talk to anyone?
No. You can come, eat, and go without speaking to anyone if that's what you need. Our volunteers are friendly but never pushy. If you want to chat, they're happy to.
Do you have clothing or hygiene items?
Yes. We have a selection of clothing and hygiene items available. Ask a volunteer about what's available, or have a look at the front of the room.
What if I have dietary requirements or allergies?
We take allergies and dietary preferences seriously. Just let us know when you arrive and we'll make sure we can accommodate you.
Can I bring friends or guests?
Absolutely. Friends and guests are always welcome.
What time should I arrive?
We're open from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Come whenever suits you.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The venue is accessible with no steps or steep inclines.
Every Monday at 6:00 PM at Worsbrough Common Community Centre, Warren Quarry Lane, Barnsley S70 4ND. Everyone is welcome—no forms, no judgement, just community and a warm meal. Come as you are.
